CT Unit Manager - Medical Recruitment Division
Salary: to £39,000 per annum
Location: Sheffield
MEDICAL IMAGING - CT UNIT MANAGER - STATIC SITES
You will be relied upon heavily by our client to manage the static centres by continuously improving revenue streams and by establishing a flexible workforce; managing your resources and ensuring that the service is operated at the highest possible level.
You will also be tasked with developing more private work and for liaising with and influencing key stakeholders such as doctors and referers.
It is important therefore that you have held P and L responsibility before and are familiar with agreeing the key objectives at the start of the financial year through to increasing revenue and managing resources and costs.
You will establish key relationships with key stakeholders such as host site managers, doctors, referers and radiologists and ensure that service quality is maintained.
You will hire and develop a top performing team and implement effective staffing models; ensuring that the right skill mix is maintained at all times & you will provide regular feedback, performance reviews, succession planning and CPD.
You will continuously review the static centres ensuring that each centre is fit for purpose and is operating effectively.
You will make operational decisions and establish regular communication with your colleagues, team and stakeholders. Financial decisions regarding fees with be made in consultation with your director.
You will be a people manager - managing static centre staff; both clinical and adminstrative. You will be in charge of the budgets.
Your experience:
It is essential that you are an experienced people and resource manager and be experienced with P and L responsibility as well as developing new revenue streams.
You will have an excellent knowledge of medical imaging and a previous healthcare/radiology experience to be credible with stakeholders.
You will need to understand the public sector tendering process ideally - however training on this can be given.
